Simplifying the process
When a state sponsors a 529 college savings plan, resources can be a challenge. That's why states turn to us for program management. Fully integrated program management means that we offer a single source for implementation, recordkeeping, administration, client service, marketing, and investment services. Having a one-stop provider significantly reduces the amount of time and effort needed to administer a state's 529 plan as well as helps to ensure a high level of consistency and quality of service delivery. The Implementation team closely manages all aspects of a plan from conversion through future initiatives. This team ensures that deadlines are met and that all appropriate resources are allocated to successfully implement the plan's key initiatives. The Implementation team works closely with all internal resources at Upromise Investments as well as those at the end client. This close integration allows a coordinated approach across all projects.
We are also able to introduce added-value tools and programs to a 529 plan. These can serve to help the plan grow, both in assets and in accounts. We do this in several ways:
